Police Hunt for Suspect in Knuckleduster Attack in Wisborough Green

Sussex Police are urgently seeking witnesses after a disturbing assault occurred in Wisborough Green on the 8th of December.

The incident unfolded around 12:40 pm when a man, seated in his van on Durbans Road near the cricket pitch, was attacked by an unidentified assailant. Reports suggest the use of a knuckleduster or a similar weapon in the assault, resulting in facial injuries to the victim.

The attacker is described as being about 6 feet tall, clad in a long black coat with a hood, wearing a black face mask, and grey gloves. This description is being circulated in hopes of identifying the suspect.

The police are calling on anyone who was in the vicinity at the time and may have witnessed the assault, or anyone who has any information regarding the incident, to come forward. Information can be reported online or by calling 101, citing reference number 560 of 08/12.
