Police Identify Potential Witnesses in Crawley Stabbing Case

In response to a reported stabbing in Crawley, police have released images of three individuals they are seeking to interview as part of their investigation.

The event occurred in East Park between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM on November 11. A 31-year-old man was injured in the incident, but his injuries were not life-threatening. He received hospital treatment and is currently recovering.

Following the incident, a person of interest was observed leaving East Park, heading towards Brighton Road and then towards the High Street.

Police are calling for anyone who may have witnessed the event or possesses pertinent footage, such as CCTV, dashcam, or mobile phone recordings from the area at the time, to come forward.

They are particularly keen to identify three men believed to have crucial information for the investigation. The first individual is a black man wearing a dark jacket with lighter-colored shoulders and arms, black trousers, and a black hood. The second is a black man dressed in a light-colored, puffer-style jacket with a dark-colored body, grey hooded top, and grey tracksuit bottoms. The third is a black man in a grey baseball hat and grey hooded top, a black jacket, and dark trousers.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Sussex Police online or by calling 101, quoting reference number 984 of 11/11. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously through CrimeStoppers at 0800 555 111.
