Police Release CCTV Images of Two Suspects in Polegate Shop Robbery

CCTV images reveal teens involved in robbery at Millfields Store.

Sussex Police are investigating a robbery at Millfields Store in Station Road, Polegate, and have released CCTV images of two men they wish to identify. The incident occurred shortly after 7:30 pm on Monday, November 18, and involved threats with a knife.

Details of the Robbery

According to reports, two suspects entered the shop and assaulted a staff member before one of them threatened the victim with a knife. The suspects stole a small amount of cash and fled the scene on foot via School Lane.

The suspects were described as teenage males, approximately 16 or 17 years old.

  • First Suspect: Around 5’7″ to 5’8″, wearing a shiny black puffer-style coat, a face covering, black trousers, and black trainers.
  • Second Suspect: Slightly shorter at 5’5″ to 5’6″, wearing a black coat and black Adidas tracksuit bottoms with three white stripes down the legs.

CCTV Images Released

To aid the investigation, police have released CCTV images of the suspects. Officers are asking for assistance in identifying the two individuals and gathering additional evidence.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage

Investigators are supporting the victim and are appealing to the public for help. They are particularly interested in anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage from the area around the time of the incident.
