Police release e-fit image of suspect in Peacehaven sexual assault case

Police officers investigating a report of a sexual assault on a teenage girl in Peacehaven have released an E-fit image of the alleged perpetrator. The incident occurred on Sunday, May 7, at approximately 8:15 PM on The Promenade, near the junction with Capel Avenue.

According to the victim, she was approached by an unfamiliar man who proceeded to sexually assault her. Specially-trained officers are providing her with the necessary support during this time.

Authorities had previously made a public appeal for any CCTV footage or information from witnesses pertaining to the incident. Of particular interest is a witness who interrupted the suspect, described as a white man in his 40s or 50s.

In a recent development, an E-fit image of the suspect has now been released. The individual is described as a white male in his early 20s, approximately 5′ 10″ in height.

Anyone who can identify the suspect or possesses any relevant information is urged to report it to Sussex Police through their online platform or by calling 101. When contacting the authorities, please quote the reference number 1547 of 07/05.
