Police Release Images of Suspects in Doorstep Fraud

Group of men suspected of vehicle tampering to reduce price; public’s help needed.

Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a possible doorstep fraud in Lower Dicker, Hailsham.

The incident involves a report from a vehicle owner who claims that men tampered with a vehicle they were purchasing to obtain a lower price. The incident occurred around 9pm on May 14, with a group of three men involved.

The suspects are all described as being in their 20s and dressed in black. Police have released images of the men they wish to speak with regarding this incident and are advising sellers to be vigilant against potential scams.

Anyone who recognises these individuals or has any information is urged to report it to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 132 of 16/05.
