Potential witness sought in ongoing Brighton assault investigation

Brighton and Hove police is seeking to identify a potential witness as part of their ongoing investigation into a severe assault in the area.

A 30-year-old man remains in critical condition in the hospital following an assault that took place outside the Harbour Hotel on Kings Road. The incident occurred between 3 am and 3:45 am on June 17.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has been released on conditional bail while the investigation continues. Police confirm that there are no additional suspects being pursued in connection with this case.

Police officers strongly believe that the individual depicted in the provided image may have witnessed the assault and are urging him, or anyone who can identify him, to come forward and assist with their inquiries.
