At around 20:20 this evening Police attended Brighton Marina to a person following a concern for welfare.
A photo shared to Sussex News shows the main access road in closed and traffic diverted back up on the A259 leaving no access in to the marina.
Brighton marina sent out an Email to residents saying ” Due to an Incident, the police have closed the access road into the marina, 8:20pm 30th of November. We do not know how long the incident will last, If you are heading back to the Marina, you may be delayed.”
The road was reported open again around 21:15
The person has now been safely taken to a location for medical help
