Roadside Breath Test Leads to Arrest After Children Injured in Crawley

A female driver is under arrest after failing a breathalyzer test when her car struck a 5-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl in Crawley.

Following a collision involving a car and two children in Crawley, a female driver has been arrested. Emergency services responded to the incident on Ifield Drive around 8:40 am today (March 18).

A 5-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl were the victims, with the boy taken to the hospital for precautionary measures.

The 54-year-old driver failed a roadside breath test and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Anyone with relevant information is urged to reach out to the police online or via phone, quoting serial 248 of March 18.
