Search underway for suspect William Miller following serious assault in Brighton

Police are urgently seeking the whereabouts of William Miller, 42, in connection with a serious assault that took place on Friday, July 14th. The incident occurred at approximately 12:25 p.m. in Whitehawk Close, prompting an immediate response from emergency services.

Upon arrival at the scene, authorities discovered a man with severe injuries, suspected to have been inflicted by a bladed weapon. The victim was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance for urgent medical attention.

Detective Inspector Ian Lucas, leading the investigation, expressed concern over the violent nature of the assault, which took place in broad daylight. The victim sustained multiple significant injuries, emphasizing the gravity of the incident.

In light of the circumstances, an intensive and fast-moving inquiry has been initiated. The police are urging the public to exercise caution and refrain from approaching William Miller if encountered. Instead, they should immediately contact emergency services by dialing 999 and quoting “Op Elson.”

Furthermore, authorities are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the vicinity of the assault during the given timeframe. Detectives are encouraging witnesses to come forward and provide any relevant information either by contacting the police online or dialing 101.
