Teen Arrested After Stabbing Incident at Three Bridges

Emergency Services Respond to Stabbing at Busy Railway Station; Victim Hospitalized with Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

Emergency services rushed to Three Bridges Railway Station in Crawley on Wednesday, 28 August, following reports of a stabbing incident. The incident occurred at approximately 3:25 PM, prompting a swift response from local authorities.

According to a spokesperson for Sussex Police, a man was found at the scene with injuries consistent with being stabbed by a bladed article. The victim was immediately taken to the hospital, where his injury was assessed as not life-threatening.

A 16-year-old boy from Bognor has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He is currently in custody as police continue their investigation into the incident.

Sussex Police have appealed to the public for any information that could assist in their inquiries. Witnesses or anyone with relevant details are urged to report online or contact the police by dialing 101, quoting reference number 819 of 28/08.
