Teen Arrested Following Hate Incident in Yapton

A 14-year-old faces charges after a troubling event in a Yapton park; police call for witness information

Authorities are calling for public assistance after a hate-related confrontation in Yapton, where a group of youths reportedly targeted another group at a local park near Main Road at approximately 7pm on April 7.

Following the incident, a 14-year-old boy from Yapton was taken into custody under the Public Order Act and subsequently released on conditional bail. Sussex Police are now urging witnesses or anyone with relevant information or video evidence of the event to come forward to aid the ongoing investigation.
