The fire service has rescued four adults, a Child, and a dog after getting stuck in vehicles in floodwater in Barcombe

At 16:18 East Sussex Fire Rescue Service was called to report a car stuck in water on Barcombe Mills Road, Barcombe. Four pumps were sent to the scene.

ESFRS Said “There were a total of three cars and one van stuck in the water. Four water-trained personnel entered the water rescuing all four adults, one child, and one dog using two water paths. No injuries were reported.”

As of 5:18pm The road has been closed in both directions till water levels fall back down
