Thieves Steal from Eastbourne Church Food Bank

Burglary at St Saviour's Church: Food Bank Items Stolen, Suspects' Distinctive Clothing Noted

Officers in Eastbourne are seeking the public’s help to identify two individuals in connection with a burglary that took place at St Saviour’s Church in the early hours of June 16.

The suspects gained entry to the church hall and forced open two locked cupboards in the vestibule. A variety of food and drink items, which were intended for the food bank, were stolen during the incident.

Both suspects were seen wearing baseball caps and had distinctive footwear. Additionally, logos were visible on the back of their sweatshirts, which may help in their identification.

The police urge anyone with information that could assist in the investigation to report it online or call 101, quoting crime reference 47240115979.
