Tragic Murder: Man Charged in Death of 32-Year-Old Woman in Crawley

A man has been charged with the murder of a 32-year-old woman in Crawley. The victim, identified as Holly Sanchez, was found lifeless at a bungalow in Oates Walk on Saturday, May 13, around 9 am. A post-mortem examination determined that she had suffered severe head injuries, which led to her death.

Following the discovery, three men were initially apprehended on suspicion of murder. However, two of them, a 37-year-old and a 60-year-old from Crawley, have been released on conditional bail pending further investigation.

The third suspect, identified as 30-year-old Ryan Evans, a resident of Oates Walk in Crawley, has been formally charged with murder. Evans was remanded in custody and made an appearance before Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 16. During the hearing, he was further remanded for a subsequent court appearance at Lewes Crown Court scheduled for Wednesday, May 17.

Clarification has been provided that Holly Sanchez was originally from Crawley but was not residing at the address where the tragic incident occurred.
