Travel Alert: Collisions in Telscombe Cliffs and Horsham

Two road collisions on Sussex roads this Sunday afternoon have led to traffic disruptions. The first incident, reported at approximately 4:45 pm on the A264 in Horsham between the Moorhead and Rusper roundabouts, prompted a swift response from West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service (WSFRS). Sussex Traffic Watch (SussexTW) reported the road closed in both directions, causing extensive traffic delays.

The second collision, a two-vehicle RTC, occurred around 5:30 pm in Telscombe Cliffs, affecting the A259. The crash, involving a car and a van, necessitated recovery operations, with Sussex Police managing traffic by allowing alternate one-way passage to reduce congestion. East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service (ESFRS) and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECamb) also attended the scene,
