Triple Stabbing in Cootham: Police Appeal for Witnesses

Police and emergency services were called to Pulborough Road, Cootham, near Storrington, at around 7:25 PM on Thursday, January 16, after reports of a stabbing involving three people.

A 30-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman were treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the hospital. While the woman’s injuries are not life-threatening, the man remains in serious condition.

Officers later found a third victim, a 28-year-old man, who was also hospitalised. A 28-year-old man from Cootham has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is in custody.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with video footage of the incident to come forward. Information can be reported online or by calling 101 and quoting Operation Brandy.
