VIDEO: Witness Appeal After E-Bike Theft in Hove

Sussex Police seek eyewitnesses to theft of £3,000 e-bike outside The Neptune Pub; suspects may be involved in other crimes.

A high-value e-bike, worth approximately £3,000, was stolen on Sunday, April 28th, outside The Neptune Pub on Victoria Terrace in Hove.

Witnesses report seeing two individuals, believed to be involved in the theft, fleeing the scene. Sussex Police are now urging anyone who may recognise the bike or the suspects to come forward. The e-bike, a critical mode of transport for its owner, was notably stolen by thieves who are suspected of targeting several bikes in the area.

Further complicating the investigation, authorities suspect that the culprits may be using a Honda 125 motorcycle with possibly counterfeit license plates, registered as GV68 KZH. This connection to additional bike thefts highlights a potentially organised crime operation within the region.

Sussex Police have assigned Investigating Officer CS221 Scott to the case. The police are requesting that anyone with information regarding the theft, the suspects, or the Honda motorcycle contact them directly with reference number 47240079927.
