“Why Trans Women Aren’t Women” speaker Posie Parker threatened with arrest after alleged “hate crime” at Brighton Protest

This Monday (21st November) controversial speaker, Posie Parker otherwise known as Kellie-Jay Keen was threatened with arrest if she fails to attend a voluntary police interview over an allegation of a “hate crime” at Brighton a “rally” on September 18th. Police in a phone call with Keen specified that the allegation of a hate crime is centred around the “use of words or behaviour to stir up hatred on the grounds of sexual orientation.”.

She was also informed by police during the phone call (published online by Keen) that if they failed to attend an interview at Brighton police station, “Wiltshire Police [Would be sent] to come and arrest” her. This is apparently the fifth time Keen has had contact with police over her contentious campaigning which is often labelled “anti-trans” or as a “TERF” by opposing groups.
