Witness Appeal Following Sexual Assault in Southwater

Police are urgently seeking witnesses following a sexual assault incident involving a 19-year-old woman in Southwater. The assault occurred around 10:30 pm on Saturday, 14th October, near Cedar Drive. The victim was approached by an unidentified man, who then assaulted her, stole a sum of money, and left her with injuries that required medical attention.

An EFIT image of the suspect, created from the victim’s description, has been released to aid in identifying the assailant. The suspect is described as a black male, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, with facial hair. He was wearing a black tracksuit, black shoes, and a black and red puffer jacket at the time of the assault.

Authorities are urging anyone who has information regarding this incident to come forward and contact the police either online or by calling 101, referencing case number 314 of 16/10.
