15-year-old Boy assaulted in Worthing underpass

An investigation is underway following an assault on a teenager that occurred in Worthing on the afternoon of September 1st.

A 15-year-old boy reported that he was attacked while riding his bicycle through an underpass connecting Limbrick Lane and Mulberry Crescent in Goring, just before 4:45 pm. The assault resulted in a significant facial injury, necessitating medical attention at a hospital.

Authorities are actively pursuing leads to identify the suspect, who has been described as a white teenage male with blonde hair, standing approximately 5’8″ tall. He was reportedly accompanied by two girls and another boy during the incident.

In their efforts to gather more information, investigators are particularly interested in speaking with an elderly couple who were in the vicinity at the time of the assault. Local residents and motorists are also encouraged to review any available CCTV, doorbell camera, or dashcam footage that may aid in identifying the individuals involved.
