15-Year-Old boy stabbed in Portslade, two teens charged

Two teenagers have been charged in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in Portslade. According to the police, they received a report of a 15-year-old boy being stabbed in Valley Road during the early hours of Tuesday, 9 August, 2022. The victim was rushed to the hospital where he received treatment for serious injuries and has since been discharged.

Following the incident, a 15-year-old boy from Hove and a 16-year-old boy from Portslade were arrested and have now been charged with wounding with intent. As they are both under the age of 18, their names have been withheld from the public. They are scheduled to appear at Worthing Youth Court on 20 April.

Investigator Rose Horan has urged anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about it to come forward and assist with the investigation. She said: “We have charged two suspects in connection with this serious incident, but we are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. If you can help with the investigation, please contact police online or via 101, quoting serial 126 of 09/08.” The police are still investigating the matt
