Suspect Charged and Remanded After £70,000 Worth of Cannabis Plants Found

A significant drug operation has been dismantled by the Tactical Enforcement Unit officers in Brighton after they carried out a Misuse of Drugs warrant at a property in Rottingdean. The raid took place on Sunday, 7 July, at an address in Rowan Way, leading to the discovery and seizure of cannabis plants valued at approximately £70,000.

The successful raid saw officers seize the substantial amount of drugs and dismantle the setup to prevent future use. The operation was part of ongoing efforts to combat drug-related activities in the area.

Dorian Ibra, 36, of no fixed address, has been arrested and charged with producing a class B drug – cannabis. He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 9 July.

The police are urging the public to report any concerns or information related to drug dealing in their neighbourhoods. Reports can be made online or by calling 101.
