Appeal to Trace James Smith Over Missed Drink-Driving Hearing

Police are seeking assistance in locating a 36-year-old individual, James Smith, who is currently without a permanent residence. Smith was scheduled to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on November 1 but failed to do so.

He faces charges for not providing a specimen for analysis following his arrest on suspicion of drink-driving at Lancing Park on February 17, earlier this year. Smith, who works as a carpenter, is known to have connections in the Shoreham, Sompting, Lancing, and Worthing areas.

Described as having a medium build, brown hair, and stubble, any sightings or information regarding his whereabouts should be reported to Sussex Police either online or by calling 101, referencing serial 1382 of 17/02/2023.
