Breaking: Police incident in Hove

Sussex Police are currently addressing a situation in the Westbourne Villas region of Hove.

A cordon has been set up, and the section of Westbourne Villas south of the A259’s intersection with New Church Road is inaccessible.

Several adjacent roads are also sealed off.

Police said “We kindly request that you refrain from visiting this area for now.”

Sussex News understands a number of flats have been evacuated along with the local synagogue
