Brighton Hate Crime Suspect Sought: Police Release Image of Man

Officers issue an image of a man wanted for questioning after November 9 incident.

Sussex Police have issued an appeal for information after a reported hate crime incident near the Clock Tower in Brighton on November 9. Investigators have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident, which has also been captured in a video currently circulating on social media.

Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes or can identify the man to come forward to aid in their investigation. Sussex Police, aware of the potential for heightened community tensions, is working closely with local partners to ensure residents feel safe and supported.

The police urge any members of the community who experience threatening behavior or feel concerned for their safety to contact them promptly.

Anyone with information regarding the man’s identity is encouraged to report it online or by calling 101, quoting serial 257 of 10/11.
