A man has been charged in connection with a serious assault that occurred in Cootham last Thursday, January 16. The incident took place at a residence on Pulborough Road, leaving three individuals injured.

Sussex Police responded to reports at around 7:25 pm, finding a 30-year-old man, a 28-year-old man, and a 54-year-old woman with injuries consistent with a stabbing. Two of the victims, a 54-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, were hospitalized with serious injuries. They have since been discharged.

Thomas Hoe, 28, of Pulborough Road, Cootham, has been charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, and possession of a bladed article. Following his arrest, he was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Lewes Crown Court on February 14.
