Emergency services rushed to Crawley’s County Mall this afternoon after a man fell from a height, believed to be the third floor, to the ground level of the shopping centre. The incident left the individual with life-threatening injuries, prompting a response from South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECamb) and the KSS Air Ambulance.
The shopping centre was quickly evacuated as medics attended the scene. The air ambulance landed nearby at Southgate Playing Fields before later flying towards Brighton. It remains unclear if a patient was onboard at the time of departure.
