The Emirates A380, flying from Dubai to London on Tuesday 12th of September 2023 as EK15 and operated by the aircraft A6-EOZ, declared an emergency and was diverted to Munich.
It has been reported on social media that the emergency was related to a medical issue on board.
Subsequently, the flight resumed its journey after the situation was addressed.
Originally scheduled to depart Dubai at 8 a.m. local time and arrive at Gatwick at 12:35 local time, the flight landed at Gatwick at 15:40 local time after its unexpected stop in Munich.
