Hunt for Suspects in £20,000 Equipment Theft on Train

Authorities Seek Public's Help to Identify Individuals Connected to Architectural Scanning Device Theft

British Transport Police (BTP) officers are appealing for public assistance in identifying individuals connected to the theft of a specialised piece of equipment valued at £20,000.

The incident occurred around 6 pm on 23 February, when the victim left their bag containing an architectural scanning device in the overhead storage on a train at Redhill. Shortly after, a group boarded the train and sat beneath the storage rack where the bag was placed. Upon arriving at Earlswood, the group took the bag with them as they left the train.

The BTP has released images of the individuals believed to have information that could aid the investigation. Officers are urging anyone who recognises these individuals to come forward.

If you have any information, please contact the BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 2400024173. Alternatively, you can reach out to Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
