Man Attacked and Stabbed in Broadfield, Crawley

38-Year-Old Man Hospitalised After Assault by Group in Broadfield Crawley

Emergency services were called to Broadfield in Crawley on Sunday evening following reports of a man being attacked and stabbed by a group of people.

A police spokesman provided details on the incident: “Police were called to a report of a group of people assaulting a man in Broadfield Barton at around 8.15pm on Sunday, July 28. Officers attended and were alerted that the man, 38, had also been stabbed and was at St James Walk.”

The injured man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, though they were not considered life-changing. He has since been discharged from the hospital.

Police have launched a thorough investigation to locate the suspects involved in the attack. An increased police presence can be expected in the area as the investigation continues.
