Detectives are seeking witnesses to an assault incident in Crawley.
At approximately 7:30 AM on Sunday, August 27th, police received a report from a third party concerning a man with a significant back injury who was observed walking in the vicinity of York Road.
Police promptly responded to the call and located the injured victim nearby. He was subsequently transported to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for medical treatment.
Upon conducting inquiries, it has been determined that the assault occurred within an alleyway near Tilgate Parade.
The investigative team is eager to interview individuals who may have witnessed the incident or observed any suspicious activities in the area during that timeframe.
Those possessing pertinent information or possessing CCTV, doorbell camera footage, or dash cam recordings from Tilgate Parade, Irving Walk, York Road, Nash Road, Ashdown Drive, or the neighboring areas are encouraged to come forward.
