Norse Atlantic Connects Gatwick with Bangkok on New Direct Service

Gatwick now offers up to four weekly flights to Bangkok, delivering seamless travel to Thailand.

Norse Atlantic Airways Expands UK Network with New London-Bangkok Direct Route

In a major boost to its winter 2025 schedule, Norse Atlantic Airways has unveiled plans to launch a new direct service between London Gatwick (LGW) and Bangkok (BKK). The new route is set to debut on Sunday, October 26, 2025, offering passengers up to four weekly flights with return fares starting from £295, taxes included.

Strategic Expansion into Asia

The introduction of the London-Bangkok service marks a significant expansion for the airline, whose UK operations are based at London Gatwick—a key strategic hub with daily flights across the Atlantic and to South Africa. This new route is expected to further diversify the airline’s network and attract travelers seeking direct access to one of Asia’s most popular destinations.

Enhanced Flight Frequencies on Additional Routes

In addition to the new London service, Norse Atlantic Airways is ramping up its offerings on other routes to Bangkok:

  • Stockholm Arlanda to Bangkok: Weekly flights will increase from two to four, starting Friday, December 5, 2025. One-way fares will begin at SEK 3546, including taxes.
  • Oslo to Bangkok: Flights will see an increase from three to four times weekly beginning Wednesday, December 3, 2025, with one-way fares from NOK 2578, taxes included.

CEO’s Perspective

“We’re excited to launch direct flights between London Gatwick and Bangkok, a top choice among our travelers. This addition not only strengthens our existing network between Asia but also builds on our routes from London Gatwick to destinations across the Atlantic and South Africa. For us it’s all about offering more travel options at great prices without compromising on comfort and service for those looking to enjoy a beautiful and warm winter sunshine destination,” said Bjørn Tore Larsen, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Norse Atlantic Airways.

Looking Ahead

With the new service and increased flight frequencies, Norse Atlantic Airways is poised to capitalize on growing demand for travel to Asia during the winter months. The airline’s strategic expansion into new markets and its commitment to competitive pricing and enhanced service standards signal a promising outlook for its future operations.
