Police Investigate Fatal Collision Between Lewes and Ringmer

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses following a tragic two-vehicle collision between Lewes and Ringmer on Wednesday, November 20.

The incident occurred around 4:40 PM at Earwig Corner, the junction of Uckfield Road and Ringmer Road, and involved a motorbike and a car. Tragically, the motorcyclist, a 33-year-old local man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision. Officers are urging anyone with dashcam, CCTV, mobile phone, or doorbell footage from the area to come forward, as these may provide crucial evidence.
