Police investigate reports of items thrown from bridge on A270 at Shoreham

On Monday, July 3, at around 3:50 PM, police received a report of items being thrown from a bridge over the A27 at Shoreham. Officers responded to the scene and conducted a search of the area, but no trace was found.

The incident was first reported at 3:01 PM on July 3, with reports of items being thrown off the bridge on the A27 Shoreham Bypass around the A270 Upper Shoreham Road (Southwick / Holmbush turn off). Despite the incident, traffic in the area was reported to be coping well.
