Fireworks Through Letterbox Cause Damage in Helyers Green

Police are appealing for information following an arson attack in Helyers Green, Wick, in the early hours of November 16. Investigators have released CCTV images of two men they wish to identify in connection with the incident.

Fireworks Through Letterbox Cause Flat Damage

The arson incident occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. when fireworks were ignited and pushed through the letterbox of a flat, causing significant damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the act has left residents shaken.

CCTV footage from the scene captures two men approaching the flat. One individual is seen adjusting a face mask upon noticing the presence of cameras.

  • Suspect 1: Wearing a dark puffa-style jacket over a hooded top, paired with light grey tracksuit bottoms and dark trainers.
  • Suspect 2: Wearing a light-coloured hooded top, dark tracksuit trousers, and dark trainers.

Police Seek Public Assistance

Officers are urging anyone who recognises the men in the CCTV images or has information about the incident to come forward.
