Firefighters from the East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) are currently battling a significant fire at a residential property on Woburn Way in Eastbourne. The fire, which broke out late this evening, has prompted a large-scale emergency response.
An ESFRS spokesperson stated, “We were called at 21:42 to a residential fire at Woburn Way, Eastbourne. Six appliances and one aerial ladder platform are at the scene. All persons have been accounted for. Police and ambulance service are also in attendance, please avoid the area.”
