Crawley police are urging the public to come forward with any information regarding unusual activity observed near a garage block in Breydon Walk, Furnace Green. The request specifically pertains to the evening of Wednesday, 15th November, between the hours of 5:00 PM and 10:30 PM.
During this period, a break-in occurred at one of the garages, resulting in the theft of a distinctive yellow electric wire stripping machine, which was attached to a similarly painted heavy trolley. Due to its weight, it is believed that at least two individuals would have been needed to carry out the theft.
The machine bears a resemblance to the photo provided but is yellow in color. Anyone who has seen something suspicious or has any relevant information is strongly encouraged to contact the police. To assist in the investigation, please call 101 and quote the reference number 1488/15/11.
