Norse Atlantic Airways, the innovative low-cost, long-haul airline, marked a milestone by celebrating two inaugural flights on the 30th June and 1st July, connecting London to Los Angeles and San Francisco respectively. These new direct services offer an affordable and expedient travel solution for UK-based passengers eager to explore the cultural riches of these two prominent Californian cities.
Los Angeles and San Francisco are the latest American destinations added to Norse Atlantic’s burgeoning network from their London Gatwick base. “We’re delighted to announce that with these additions, Norse Atlantic is now the largest long-haul operator to the US from London Gatwick,” said CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen. “These routes offer travellers an affordable, convenient gateway to iconic attractions, from San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman’s Wharf to Hollywood and Santa Monica Beach in Los Angeles.”
Daily flights to Los Angeles from London Gatwick depart at 10:35, arriving at 14:10 the same day, with return flights leaving Los Angeles at 14:25 and touching down at 11:00 the following day. Round-trip Economy fares start from £460, inclusive of all taxes and fees.
