Train Services between Oxted and Uckfield have been suspended for the rest of the day.

Network Rail reported a lorry striking a railway bridge in Ashurst this afternoon around 1:30pm

Rail services were suspended between Uckfield and Oxted whilst engineers attended the scene,

Due to damage caused to the bridge and the tracks services have ben suspended for the rest of the day.

Southern Rail have said the following station will not be served

he following stations will not be served: • Edenbridge Town • Hever • Cowden • Ashurst • Crowborough • Buxted • Uckfield
