Significant Barn Fire Engulfs Charlwood Farm

Surrey FRS Crews remain on site as the cause of the fire is under investigation.

The fire, located at a farm on Norwood Hill Road, prompted a swift and substantial response from Surrey FRS. Five fire engines were dispatched to the scene, along with an aerial ladder platform and a water carrier to effectively tackle the flames.

The firefighting efforts have been bolstered by SES Water, who have supplied additional water tankers to ensure an adequate water supply for the ongoing operation. This collaboration highlights the critical support provided by local utilities in managing such large-scale incidents.
