Gatwick Police have arrested four males wanted for a knife point robbery of a car.

The situation quickly escalated as the suspects attempted to flee, but the officer was able to call for backup from the National Police Air Service (NPAS). With their help, two of the suspects were detained while they waited for additional officers to arrive.

In the end, all four suspects were successfully arrested and taken into custody for their alleged involvement in the robbery.

Gatwick Police tweeted “‘You can’t park there mate,’ well I did, just before arresting 4 males wanted for knife point robbery of a car. Great help from @NPAShq as they detained two whilst waiting for officers to help. Outstanding”
