On Sunday evening, both Shoreham lifeboats, along with the Brighton lifeboat and the coastguard rescue helicopter, were mobilized for a search operation. They were tasked with locating a woman who had entered the water near Brighton Palace Pier but had gone missing.
As assets reached the area they received the stand-down order.
Thankfully, it was confirmed that the woman had been found safe on the shore. This callout turned out to be a case of good intent. #RNLI
