Man Stabbed During Early-Morning Altercation in Brighton City Centre Grace north street

A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed during an altercation in Brighton city centre.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance outside the Grace Club in North Street at around 5.10am on Sunday, December 14.

Sussex Police said a 28-year-old man sustained injuries consistent with a stabbing. His injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening, and he was treated in hospital.

Officers have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said:
“Witnesses or anyone with relevant information, such as CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage, is asked to come forward and report it to the police.

“Information can be reported to Sussex Police online or by calling 101 and quoting serial 184 of 14/12.”

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
