Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision on the A259 Marine Gate in Brighton just after 2pm on Monday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses reported that a van and a car collided, causing the van to flip onto its side.
Traffic was temporarily diverted via Marina Tunnel Road and Roedean while emergency crews attended the scene and the vehicles were recovered.
At the time of publishing, there were no reports of any serious injuries.
