Eastbourne road closed by police due to a Concern for welfare

Police have closed North Avenue in Eastbourne after concerns were raised for a woman’s welfare.

Eastbourne Police have said, “Officers are currently engaging with the woman who is believed to be in possession of a bladed article.”

“Please stay away from the area while we work to bring this incident to a safe conclusion.”
