Police are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man they wish to speak to in connection with a serious assault on a taxi driver in Lewes.
The incident took place just after midnight on Friday, 16 August, when the victim — a man in his 50s — was reportedly attacked while working in the town. He sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Despite ongoing enquiries, officers have so far been unable to trace the man pictured and are now urging anyone who recognises him to come forward.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said:
“We’re appealing to anyone who may recognise this man or have information that could assist our investigation. Even the smallest detail could help us identify him and progress this case.”
