Three mobility scooters, resembling the one pictured, including one red and one blue, were discovered in a damaged state, discarded in Eastbourne Seaside Rec Grounds on Monday, June 26th.
The local community alerted Eastbourne Police after spotting the abandoned scooters near the restroom area. There are suspicions that these scooters were stolen and harmed the previous night, possibly taken from a nearby care home.
Efforts are underway to locate the rightful owners, and contact has been established with potential victims.
Police urge anyone who witnessed or has information about the theft and vandalism to come forward, referencing case number 718 of 26/06.
