In response to a single-vehicle Road Traffic Collision (RTC) on the swing bridge, the A259 in Newhaven last night. Police have confirmed that a woman in her forties had been transported to the hospital with serious injuries, but it was stressed that her injuries were not currently assessed as life-threatening or life-altering.
Sussex Roads Police is now making a plea for any information or dashcam footage pertinent to the incident, which occurred around 9:25 PM yesterday.
