Yesterday afternoon a multi-agency response was required to two casualties who needed medical assistance that were participating in a charity walk at the Seven Sisters Country Park.
Coastguard Rescue Teams from Newhaven, Birling Gap and Eastbourne were tasked to the incident due to the location of the casualties was not easy to reach by land ambulance.
Two rescue Helicopters were then dispatched to the scene one from KSS Air Ambulance and other Coastguard Helicopter 175.
The coastguard attended to both casualties to stabilise and ready them for transfer to Hospital.
One casualty transferred by HEMS (Air Ambulance) and the other via the Coastguard Rescue 175 Helicopter.
