Police out on patrol in Peacehaven (Balcombe Road) Sunday afternoon, local officers came across an abandoned bike laying near the road.
Checks on the number plate quickly revealed it had been stolen in Brighton only a few days ago – bike recovered and one very owner updated by the team involved.
Enquiries continue to trace those involved, including house to house and CCTV enquires in the area.
